The Rollover

Dallin started rolling over last week. I almost caught the 2nd ever roll on camera, but as soon as he saw the camera he was more interested in it than in rolling. Figures. But this was among the first. He can only go from his back to his tummy and he gets a little upset when he's been on his tummy too long. I love it when he does the 'Superman', lifting his arms and legs up in the air so he's just on his tummy!

Preschool graduation

I guess it's more like 'preschool promotion' because Morgan has graduated from her first year of preschool to her 2nd year, hurray! I can't believe she actually made it. lol. They read all of the kids names and then the kids sang, "What time is it? Summer time." from one of the High School Musicals. I have an adorable video of her singing and signing the song but it's on another device and I haven't yet figured out how to get it from here to there.

We're especially excited because next year Roy gets to go with her! It's a little pricey and he's a little young (he'll go to it for 3 years!) but they're going to have a blast together and I know they'll learn a TON. And only a side note... (ha) mom will get some R & R!

Miss Morgan (her preschool nickname) waiting to get her certificate

Roy was absolutely enthralled with there performance and stayed in this spot for the whole thing. For those of you that don't know him well, that's quite a feat!

The big #4!!

It's hard to believe that our precious girl turned 4 years old on May 9th! She has been nothing but a joy to us and we are very proud of all that she has learned. She is such a smart girl and an AMAZING big sister and an INCREDIBLY good helper to her mommy. Sometimes I ask her to get me something and she will bring it to me. Then I think of something else that I need and she'll get it and bring it to me. Often it will happen 4 or 5 times and she just does it for me without complaining, and I think she actually enjoys it because she knows what a big girl she is. Oh how we love our girl and appreciate having here in our family!

The day before her birthday we had a combined party with her cousin Danielle, whose birthday is on May 10th. She and her family came down here to St. David and all the kids had such a fun time.

We had a princess themed party so we had the girls dress as princesses.

Roy wanted to dress as a princess too, but instead we dug out this adorable Indian costume that Flory made years ago for her own kids.

The girls are showing off the favorite gift of the day.

The boys in the middle of all the action.
Crystal made this adorable cake to go along with our theme.
Blowing out candles.
Grandma West and the two birthday girls.
The grandkids.
Her birthday was on a Sunday so she got to wear a pretty dress all day and in this picture she's posing with her new locket.
Opening presents.
We got a Barbie movie from the library a few weeks ago and she was so sad when we had to take it back so we got one for her and she loves it!

Slacker

That's what I've been when it comes to this blog. I was just thinking that most people see all of these same pictures on facebook, so is it even worth posting things twice?? But I think this is more of a journal than anything...so who cares how many people check it out. It's a fun, cute and easy way to make a history of our family. PLUS...there are a couple people not on fb who I know keep up with us here. So this post is mostly for me...so I can read it and remember to keep up on the blog!
