Us

I'll start our blog by updating everyone on what's going on in our lives. Roy and I have expanded our family to 4...we have a 2 year old girl, Morgan, and a one year old boy, Roy.

We live in St. David, Arizona, which is about 45 minutes south of Tucson. We really enjoy the small town life...everything is beautiful and peaceful here. No, we do not get nearly as hot as Phoenix. Summers and winters are both generally very mild and the weather here is very ideal for us.

I'm a busy mommy and enjoy taking the kids to the gym, playing in our recently grown grass in the backyard and doing all other mom things. Roy and I recently started a buy and sell airplane business. So far we have only bought:-). Roy is working on fixing up "the plane" and doing odd and end jobs at the airport until we can get it ready to sell.

Roy is an amazing man!! His recovery from our airplane accident 4 years ago has been nothing short of a miracle. He still sees double and has no peripheral vision. Despite these handicaps he performs task at least as good as before, but probably even better because he is so determined not to let them affect the things he does. He has piloted a plane once since the accident and the person he flew with was quite impressed. The possibilites are still there that at some point he may fly more regularly. We do have hopes of some day owning our own plane and being able to fly wherever we want, whenever we want. But until then we are enjoying life as it is now, and taking things one day at a time!

Amused Mom

Your kids are so cute and so big. My boys were baby signers, too. It's truly amazing to be able to get a glimpse into their little minds before they can speak. And I really think, along with all the benefits of a second language, mom definately benefits from having little ones who can express their needs without whining!!
Too bad about the chicken pox. . . glad it seems to be mild for little Roy.
Take care!

Tracy

So fun to "see" you guys again! Your family is adorable!
