Cinder and Chickenpox

We decided that we wanted a dog and found the perfect one on freecycle. She's a 5 month old lab/retriever mix. Still young enough for the change not to be too hard on her and yet she has had a little bit of training already. She adjusted well to her new 'country' home and is already protective of the whole family. She's a great dog! We asked Morgan what she wanted to name her and she said "Cinderella!" We thought it was just a little too undoglike, so we shortened it to Cinder. But Morgan likes to call her "Rella".:-)




The day after we got Cinder I noticed a spot behind Morgan's ear and didn't think much of it until the next day when they were all over. Needless to say they were chickenpox and she proceeded to get more over the next few days. She did very well considering...her main issue was the itching, mostly on her back and tummy. As you can see they are very concentrated on her face, but luckily she hasn't done too much scratching on those ones. We think baby Roy has a real mild case now. He just has a few spots that are blistering. Hopefully it stays mild. We are worried about the nursery and the day care at the gym. Hopefully we didn't start an outbreak!
